The most famous part of Akihabara is the Electric Town area, known for its array of electronics. In Akihabara Electric Town you can find both big name stores, such as Yodobashi Camera and Sofmap, as well as smaller independent retailers. These smaller stores are situated in the backstreets behind the bigger main stores. The backstreets are full of stores run on for a couple of blocks. These stores often specialize in computer parts, high end hardware, and used computers.
